KENTUCKY MINISTRY NETWORK CREDENTIALING

At each level a minister must prove their preparation for ministry by completing required courses of Bible and ministerial training, or have an accredited college education in a ministry related field, such as: Biblical studies, evangelism, pastoral ministry, missions, etc.

  • Certified Minister

    This is the introductory level of credentials. It is for those who show a promise for ministry.

  • Licensed Minister

    This level of credential is for those ministers who have developed their ministry and show progess in their ministry.

  • Ordained Minister

    This is our highest level of credential. It is reserved for those who have achieved a proven ministry.

THE CREDENTIALING PROCESS

Once the preliminary questionnaire is filled out, our credentialing admin will contact you with the next steps.

 Here’s a basic overview of the process:

 

  • Complete the application via Docusign-which will include permission for our office to complete background, credit and reference checks

  • Exams and Interviews - There will be 2 exams for the Certified level of Credentials and an additional exam for the Licensed level of credentials

  • Interviews will be conducted with the sectional leadership and the Network office leadership

  • All applications must be approved by the Kentucky Ministry Network Executive Presbytery before being sent to the National office for final approval and issuance of the credentials.

  • Kentucky School of Ministry

    Instructional mentoring combined with peer relationships to prepare for ministry.
